Why we built it
We build websites. We needed to check how AI reads them.
As AI answers became a front door to the web, our clients started asking why AI tools left them out or described them wrongly. Most of the causes sit below the writing, in how the pages are built: AI crawlers that can’t get in, text that only exists inside JavaScript, no clear signal of who the company is.
Those things can be measured against one standard and fixed the same way every time, without guesswork. We wanted that tool for our own work, so we built Tooru.
Support
Support is by email, in English.
Write to support@tooru.ai. We reply on Japanese business days (we’re on Japan Standard Time, UTC+9). We don’t offer phone or video calls, live chat or sales demos. The product, the sample report and the methodology are all public, so you can check everything yourself before you sign up.
How we operate
Open about how we measure. Light on your servers.
A public methodology
What we check, how, and how many points each check is worth is public. Every change is recorded in the changelog.
MethodologyA crawler that identifies itself
TooruBot sends its name, follows robots.txt, and fetches at most one page per second from any one site.
About TooruBotNo comparisons with other products
This site doesn’t name other products or quote their features or numbers. It only describes what Tooru does.
Clear about what we keep
The privacy policy lists what we keep, who processes it and for how long. For AI analysis we send only a short digest of the page to the AI provider, never the full HTML.
